Your Cause Sports is dedicated to the promotion of charitable giving through the production of superior endurance events. By allowing athletes the unique opportunity to benefit the cause of their choice, they are empowered to make a difference and motivated with a reason to race, while bringing both funding and awareness to a diverse group of 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations.

Race for Your Cause

Choose one of the organizations already associated with Your Cause Sports from the list below, or add any registered 501(c)3 nonprofit by emailing the following information to info@yourcausesports.org:

Donations made via cash or check will be accepted at Packet Pick-Up only.

  • Email the link to your FREE fundraising page to friends & family.
  • Email the printable donation form as an attachment.
  • Take the printable donation form to work.
  • Take the printable donation form door to door.
  • Ask all of the above for either donations or ‘per training mile’ pledges.

Fundraising Prizes

Category Amount Prize
Expert Fundraiser $250 or more Insulated Polar water bottle. Various colors.
Extreme Fundraiser $500 or more Water bottle and high quality, YCS sweatshirt.
Elite Fundraiser $5,000 or more 1 Year of YCS racing for FREE!
Epic Fundraiser $10,000 or more YCS racing FREE for LIFE!

Also, each year we will be honoring the individual who has raised the most money overall with the David S. Herron Award for Fundraising Excellence. This person will receive a trophy at the last race of the season, a featured article on our website, and FREE entry into all races for the next season. Check out our 2010 winners on the right side of this page. How can you not be motivated!

Donation Disbursements

All donations will be calculated and checks will be mailed at the end of the race season.
